Service description
With a user certificate, the user can send electronically signed mails and encrypted mails. PDFs can also be signed with a user certificate.
The service is available to all HHU employees for official purposes.
Submit your application via Sectigo:
Select the institution Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf and fill out the form. Finally, you should receive the message "Your certificate has been successfully generated" and the certificate (with the name certs.p12) should be offered for download. No additional fees are charged to users for the service.
