ResearchArchive

Service description

ResearchArchive is a secure and accessible data repository based on the open source software DSpace, which enables researchers at HHU to archive, manage and share their data within the university. The aim is to create a central platform for storing and accessing research data in order to improve the quality and transparency of research.

ResearchArchive offers a variety of functions to support researchers in storing, managing and sharing their data. Researchers can archive and store their data in various formats. In addition, data can be organised, structured and annotated with metadata to ensure that content is easy to find. Due to granular management of access rights, data can also be shared with other researchers at HHU and/or archived for later use in your own working group.

Each working group can upload up to 1TB of data to ResearchArchive free of charge with data being stored for up to 15 years, given a contact is available at the university.

The service is available to all employees and institutes and facilities of HHU for official purposes.

Up to a limit of 1 TB, HHU research groups can upload their research data to
