HHU Card
Service description
With your enrollment documents, you also received your HHU Card. It contains the following functions:
- Student ID card
- Semester ticket for public transport
- Library card
- MensaCard (payment function for the Mensa
The card is sent to all who are enrolled as regular students (i.e. not doctoral students, secondary students, or similar).
In order to use the HHU Card, you must activate it within four weeks after receipt. This you do also on the page https://idm.hhu.de.
The activation of the HHU Card works in the same way as the activation of the University identifier via the HHU Identity Management:
- Log in to the identity management system with your Student ID number or university identifier and password.
- Open the menu item 'My HHU Card'
- Check data (if data is incorrect, contact the Student Service Center)
- Confirm by checking the box
- Click the button 'Activate card'
No additional fees are charged to users for the service.
