Server certificates
Service description
A server certificate can be used to identify a server to which an encrypted connection is to be established (e.g. a web server).
The service is available to all HHU employees for official purposes.
Submit your certificate request via Sectigo https://cert-manager.com/customer/DFN/idp/ssl/aitxMaFXc6Doh3lN4vrH/select. The prerequisite for your request (Certificate Signing Request) is an RSA key pair. Select the institution Heinrich Heine University Duesseldorf and fill out the form. The processing time is 2 working days. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as your certificate has been issued. Further info and instructions are summarised in the Wiki - Electronic Certificates.
No additional fees are charged to users for the service.
