Service description
Via VPN (Virtual Private Network), you can gain access from home to secure services that are otherwise only accessible in the campus network. An encrypted connection is established via a normal internet connection through the VPN client to the VPN endpoint at the HHU. After authentication, access is the same as from the campus network.
The service is available to all HHU staff and students for official purposes.
The service is available to all employees and students of HHU for official purposes. The following prerequisites must be met in order to establish a VPN tunnel:
- Installation of a VPN client
- Downloading and saving the configuration file
- Setting up a multi-factor authentication (MFA) token
