The IDM (Identity Management) offers various self-service functions for university users. These include, for example, the activation of the HHU card or changing the primary email address.

On April 27th and April 28th, the IDM will be updated; therefore, the site will be unavailable on these days. Occasional outages may also occur on April 24th. You can view the current status of the update at any time at status.hhu.de.

To ensure we can process your inquiries efficiently, we ask that you contact us exclusively using your HHU email address. This helps us to verify your identity. Please note that we may not be able to provide direct assistance for certain concerns during the maintenance period, as the Helpdesk will also have no access to the IDM.
